Digi+Carbonless 2.0
Digi+Carbonless Tourism Companies – Smart Tourism Destinations
The Digi+Carbonless 2.0 project supports SMEs in the Uusimaa region in advancing the circular economy and the digital-green transition. The aim is to strengthen the future competitiveness of tourism destinations by developing future-resilient business competences, responsible tourism ecosystems, and digital carbon-free solutions that promote sustainability and the circular economy.
The project promotes co-creation within business networks and supports sustainable development goals. It is based on thorough mapping and responds to national objectives for sustainable tourism. The project develops new circular economy solutions and carries out pilots that utilise digitalisation and artificial intelligence. Another goal is to connect SMEs into ecosystems and develop new business models.
The project addresses competence gaps and supports SMEs in meeting EU environmental requirements. As a result, new circular economy solutions, business expertise, and regional development networks will be created.
The project is co-funded by the European Union (Helsinki-Uusimaa Region) and will be implemented between 2025 and 2027. Duration: January 2025–December 2027
EU funding (ERDF): 268 767 €
